    This six-week course is open by invitation of the Math Department to those incoming freshmen whom the department designates as nearly ready for Geometry Honors but lacking some algebraic skills or understanding. After the Math Placement Exam, students will be notified if they have been selected to take this course. Any student who takes the course must earn a B+ or higher before he or she will be allowed to take Geometry Honors in the freshman year.

    If a student is notified that he or she may take the course but chooses not to do so, he or she will be placed in Algebra 1 for freshman year.

    The production will be fully-staged and feature the Harlequins’ signature stellar production elements- costume, scenery, lights and props- designed by award-winning Chicago professionals. Students will work with Harlequins’ professionals, as well as current Ignatius students, to create first-class musical theatre. During the creative process, students will learn music, choreography and dialogue, while being introduced to the performing arts at Saint Ignatius.

    Join the Harlequins, SICP’s Theatre Group, for two weeks in creating Seussical, Jr., the Dr. Seuss inspired musical for the entire family.

     

    This two week intensive will culminate in two performances of the musical for family and friends on Friday, June 21 at 6pm and Saturday, June 22 at 1pm.

     

    The production will be fully-staged and feature the Harlequins’ signature stellar production elements- costume, scenery, lights and props- designed by award-winning Chicago professionals. Students will work with Harlequins’ professionals, as well as current Ignatius students, to create first-class musical theatre. During the creative process, students will learn music, choreography and dialogue, while being introduced to the performing arts at Saint Ignatius.


    Course meets from 12:30 - 4:30 pm the weeks of June 10-14 and June 17-21.

Coach Heraty led her 2014 team to a fourth place finish in state and will work with players on competing at the highest level. The camp will focus on the throwing technique, defensive position, and breakdown field positioning. Campers will work on their offensive fundamentals including hitting for power, bunting, and proper aggressive base running. A portion of each camp will expose players to the mental aspect of softball and playing sports at the high school level.

    This Co-Ed Cross Country Camp is for advanced runners. Instruction and supervision will be overseen by the Saint Ignatius Cross Country coaching staff. Camp will start each day at the Saint Ignatius track and most runs will take place on the beautiful lakefront path. Training will be personalized to the abilities of each athlete and include a variety of modalities. Endurance training, speed work, and tempo runs will all be emphasized. Additionally, campers will receive instruction on nutrition, stretching, and general health. We will work hard but also have a lot of fun! All athletes will receive a camp shirt.
