    This one-week workshop, conducted by the Guidance Department of Saint Ignatius, is designed to help students fine-tune and adapt their study skills to the high school environment and the Saint Ignatius College Prep curriculum.  The workshop includes practical ideas for note-taking, time management, memory improvement, writing papers, test-taking, and building relationships.  Students will learn how to integrate the use of the iPad into their daily academic routine, with an emphasis on organization, digital workflow for assignments, communication and digital note-taking.  In addition to working with the Guidance Counselors, students will meet with faculty members from all academic departments who will conduct sessions on how to study effectively for each academic discipline.  

    Course Requirements:  Students enrolled in the Study Skills program must bring their iPad (charged) to class.

The camp will focus on the throwing technique, defensive position, and breakdown field positioning. Campers will work on their offensive fundamentals including hitting for power, bunting, and proper aggressive base running. A portion of each camp will expose players to the mental aspect of softball and playing sports at the high school level. 

    Players will be grouped by age and skill level.
